How to submit Activity and apply EXP

If you're new, please place a toplevel comment to this post with your player name. Your AC/EXP will then be entered in comments below your toplevel each month, each marked with the present month and year for each character you play. This is a perma-AC post!

At any time during each month, please submit your AC proofs and your accrued EXP with linked proof using the handy-dandy code at the bottom of this entry. You may divide your earned EXP however you like between your active classes.

Your Activity and EXP is due by MIDNIGHT ending the final day of each month, Eastern Standard Time (4 AM GMT). Please don't be late. After midnight, all characters that have not submitted their activity or have insufficient activity will be swept. If you lose a character this way, they can be reapplied easily enough in the new month. If that was your only character, thus sweeping YOU from the game, you're allowed ONE free reapply. But only one. After that, you'll need an invite from an active player.

What is the monthly AC requirement? How much EXP do I earn?

Your required activity per month is ONE of the following: Five log comments made by your character, or Ten network comments made by your character. You may use at most TWO links to provide a proof. Turning your AC in earns you 100 exp!

But the maximum amount of EXP you could potentially earn a month is typically 300, (or 400 upon your first month) with bonuses earned from participating in mod events, player events, adventures in new and strange realms and making new CR! To earn the points, simply link those proofs in the code provided in your perma-ac comment each month! We look for optional proofs to be at least half the length of an AC proof.


How does the bonus EXP work and how do I earn it?

While the AC section is mandatory to maintain your spot in Bardsong, the extra stuff isn't! The event/player event/new CR proofs are meant to encourage further participation in the game with lovely incentive!

All you need to do is link your participation in mod events, player events, and try to meet new characters each month while linking your proof that you've done so. Bonus proofs DO NOT need to be as long as activity proofs! We're running on a good faith system here, and if we see any mischief involving bonus proofs, this may change.

Mod events and player events that earn EXP will be marked in their headers for transparency!
